Developer Spotlight – Justin Scabarozi

Welcome to the SD IGDA first Developer Spotlight! Please meet Justin Scabarozi~

Justin began as a gamer, and started working his way through the industry with a Wondercon ticket from grandma – making his very first connections at the Gaming Creator Connection panel!

Justin is a technical designer with a portfolio featuring a winning game jam called Frogmancer (won best sound design) alongside a lead developer position working on the rhythm game, Ongawa, at EIEN Studios. He is also Open to Work, actively looking for his next opportunity in the industry.

He also has a solo project, called The Rider, an RPG inspired Discord bot that incentivizes teamwork and collaboration to increase interaction in your discord server, allowing entire communities to battle bosses together, gain and upgrade weapons, earn currency, and more!

Like many of us here at the IGDA, Justin loves meeting new people! He enjoys video and board games, anime, and taekwondo. You can find him at our Monthly Mixers, as well as at the IGDA booth at GDC where he is volunteering again this year!
